WILL HART
In October of 1999 I walked into the basement of a church in Hamilton, MA. That night I had a visitation of the Holy Spirit that has changed my life. All of the questions I had about my life came into sharp focus as the Lord told me that He wanted to use me. For the next three days I had multiple experiences with God; the Holy Spirit would fall on me every two to three hours. He started to tell me that He wanted to use me powerfully. I was also told clearly that I was not to go to College, but I was to wait for Him to open doors for me.
I went into a season of constant prayer, reading, and fasting. My whole life became a time of crying out to God for more. I started going to any charismatic meeting that I could. If they talked about being used by God, I was there, sitting in the front row. After awhile I became good friends with an Evangelist, Bob Bradbury, who was speaking at the church where I got saved. I would follow him around and catch for him, hold his Bible, drive him to meetings, or do anything else he wanted. We became great friends.
After six months of waiting on the Lord to reveal His next step to me, He did. It came in the form of a phone call from Bob. He said, "Will, I am going to Paraguay to do some meetings. I want you to come with me." The next thing I knew I was on a plane flying to Paraguay to do a two-week evangelistic trip.
It was there, in Paraguay, where the Lord started using me to pray for the sick. During those two weeks I saw the deaf hear, the blind see, the lame walk, cancer healed, and much more. God put a love in my heart for the Paraguayans, and before I knew it, plans were in place for me to move down there. I was 17 at this time.
For the next year and a half I lived in Paraguay. Bob would bring teams down, and during the meetings I started to see hundreds and hundreds of healings. For a time I was seeing 80% of all the people I prayed for get healed. We were having supernatural experiences. Twice I saw the cloud of the anointing show up. One night 14 teens were taken up to heaven and had out of body experiences. It was a move of God, and I got to be in the middle of it. God even opened the doors for Bob and I to go and minister to the president's wife and some of her dignitary friends.
In late June of 2001, Bob came to me and asked me to travel with him fulltime. I moved back to the States and started to do meetings with him all over America. It was during that time that I first came in contact with Global Awakening. Bob had been one of Randy's first interns.
I went with Bob to a Global Awakening Itinerates' meeting right after Randy had moved to PA. Bob stood up during the meeting and introduced me to everyone and talked about what we had seen in Paraguay. This was the first time Randy met me. A few months later Randy called and asked me to go to a three day meeting with him in upstate NY. We ministered together for three days, just him and me. It was so much fun. I knew that I wanted to be a part of Global Awakening.
About six months later, Randy called me again and invited me to join the internship program. So, for the past year and a half, He has put me here to sit and learn under Randy and Global Awakening. The vision that Global Awakening has for equipping and raising up the saints has now become my vision. Randy has become a true mentor and father in the faith. The connection that I have with Randy Clark and Global Awakening is going to stay with me for the rest of my life.
Now Musy and I are leaving for Africa. Iris Ministry has been on our hearts for years, and now we are going to be a part of it. We both can't wait to see what this next chapter in our lives is going to look like. We know that we need your prayers. Please pray for us as we enter into this new season.
MUSY HART
I was born in Hamburg, Germany, but was brought up in Asuncion, Paraguay. I got saved in April of 1990. Although I was raised in a Non Christian family, God gave me a solid pastor to disciple me for the first 10 years of my Christian life. One day in my early teens, I was complaining to God about "those people who called themselves Christians, but they do this, and thatĀ" God responded: "Why don't you make the difference?" My heart was growing very hungry for more of the supernatural. In 1995 I had a different experience with God. For the next 6 years I went through a desert time, just desperate and seeking for more. I was also in college from 1997 - 2002, studying for a Major in Forestry at a Paraguayan University.
In 2000 and 2001 I got involved with Bob Bradbury's ministry, where I experienced the Holy Spirit in a different way. I also met Will during this time. I translated for Bob during his meetings, helped in an administrative role on his trips, and spent a lot of time mentoring the Paraguayan ministry team.
In 2002 (July through August) I went to Atlanta, Georgia to participate as a student in the Nehemiah School of Ministry, where Mike Ellis is the director. It was the very first school session the Nehemiah School of Ministry had. God took me through a lot of personal inner healing, while at the same time being trained on Inner Healing and Deliverance. When the school finished, I returned to Paraguay. Then in the early part of 2003, I joined Nehemiah as part of the leadership for the next school, working as an intern. It was during this time that I saw Will again. We hadn't seen each other in over a year, since he had returned to the States to travel with Bob, and then also with Randy.
We started praying to see if God wanted us to be together, and began dating on June 14th. This was a stretching time for both of us as I was living in Atlanta, GA and working with Nehemiah Ministries, and Will was living in Harrisburg, PA and working with Global Awakening. But on September 12th Will proposed, and we got married on November 18th of 2003. Once Will and I married, I began an internship with Global Awakening. Since then I have been a part of the Internship program with Randy Clark at Global Awakening from February of 2004 until June 2005. The next step is Mozambique!
