September 11, 2005 | Update from Musy

Hey Everyone,

This is Musy. We have some GOOD NEWS!!! After 18 months, we finally have the INS approval. Praise God! One thing I can tell you: patience was developed. It got a little challenging a few times, but God had His hands on it, even though we lost awareness of it often. But we got it!

We wanted to apologize for it being such a long time since you have heard from us. Our time in the States flew by. We had some time with family; we had to drive to Philadelphia to deal with INS stuff, and then we drove a little more to the south. It was great to see some friends and people that we love.

These last few months have been a little challenging, and for us one of the challenging things to learn is where home is. In first place is God, and in second place is each other; it is not a physical place. I would have thought we had learned this by now, but I guess it's being taken to a different level. There is still a lot to die to and to let go of. We also have to learn to have one goal alone: "Him".

Since Tuesday we have been back in Mozambique and guess what? A few hours ago we got our truck!!! And Will has been driving it. Right now we are in Maputo (southern Mozambique). In the next few days we will get the rest of the documentation for the truck and start our drive up to Pemba (northern Mozambique). It will take us around 4 days to get to Pemba. We just found out that there is another family and they are also driving, so we are planning to drive together. That is a huge blessing since we all are doing this drive for the first time....
