WE HAVE BEEN BUSY

We finished our Goma conference on Sunday. It was great to bring all the Iris churches from surrounding areas in for a three day conference. God showed up, and we saw many people touched. We preached the Gospel and encouraged our brothers and sisters in the Lord. It was a powerful time and a huge encouragement to everyone attending.

We rested on Monday, and then early Tuesday morning we caught a boat to Goma. It took us around seven hours to get to Goma by boat. That night we arrived at the Iris church and started preaching. We were there up until yesterday. This morning we are driving back to Kalongie, where we are going to buy land and start construction on a children's center.

Both Musy and I are flying back to Pemba on the 22nd of December. We have had an incredible month here in Congo and feel like we have accomplished everything that God has set before us. God has been showing me (Will) to go and visit another country. It has happened five times while I have been here. I have woken up and instantly I go into prayer for Thailand, more specifically Pattaya, and for the child prostitution in that country. I am praying that everything will fall into place and I will be able to be there in early February.

I visited there a little over one year ago, and it changed my life and played a huge role in my heart longing to go and join Iris. I have no idea what God is doing, but I know that He is doing something. I do not have all the pieces but rarely do I. I feel like Jesus is calling me out of my boat and wanting to show me something.

I have been receiving emails from some people who are asking if we are going to stay in Congo or if we are staying with Iris. And the answer is that we are now under Iris, and Heidi and Rolland have given us the green light to pursue what God is calling us to, in whatever capacity that is.

I talked with Heidi a few days ago, and once again she has continued drilling this into my head: "Will and Musy, there are many things for you to do here in Pemba: but you need to hear from God and do what He is calling you to do. And we will stand behind you".

We will continue to stay in Pemba. That is where our home is right now. I have felt the Lord say that I will be there for a long time, but I also feel Him saying that we will be going out. Please pray with us as we are seeking Jesus. We want nothing but His plans and His purpose. We thank you for your prayers; they bless our lives so much. It is early in the morning here and we are getting ready to drive out of here for a few days. I hope I haven't rambled too much. Please pray for us as we drive. The roads are extremely dangerous and once you leave the city anything can happen. Blessings to everyone; we love you guys,

Will and Musy Hart

December 16, 2005

Good morning everyone,

I am letting you know that we are all heading back to Pemba tomorrow morning. We have finished everything that we came here to do and more. This trip was an incredible success. We saw the lost come to the feet of Jesus; we encouraged our existing brothers and sisters in the Lord; we saw the sick healed; we purchased land for a children's center and started building a fence around the land; we held three conferences all over the eastern part of the D.R.Congo. We traveled to Panzi, Guba, Goma, Kalonge, Bukavo, Bagera and more. All in all this has been a full month.

There is so much more that I want to tell about this trip, and I will as soon as I finish a report. Thank you for coming together with us in prayer. We have felt a grace on us this entire trip, and we know that the Lord called us here for this time. Musy and I both feel like we will be coming back here sometime to finish what we helped start. Once the children's center is up and running, we will be able to take in children who have lost their parents during the war here, and I hear that there are many of them.

There is great need in Kalonge, and I am sad to say it is no different in any city here in the D.R.Congo. Please pray for this country; please pray for what Iris is doing here. I have never seen such devotion from believers and such passionate prayers. There is truly a move taking place here in the Congo, and this place is ripe for the Gospel.

Our schedule starting tomorrow is: drive to the border of Rwanda and Congo. Catch a bus to Kigali and spend the night there. Our flight to Tanzania leaves in the morning, and we arrive in Tanzania in the afternoon. We have to spend four days in Tanzania because of flight availability and then on the 22nd we fly into Pemba. Please pray that we can leave Tanzania before the 22nd and that we arrive safely back home in Pemba.

Blessings to everyone

Love Will and Musy
